Our commitment to the Wellbeing of Senegalese Women and Families
L'ASBEF (Senegalese Association for Family Wellbeing) was established in 1968, as a non-profit organization, by a group of passionate volunteers who wanted to ensure the wellbeing of the most vulnerable in Senegal, and ensure that every Senegalese has access to quality infant and maternal health services.

Backed by experienced medical and paramedical professionals, ASBEF is dedicated to ensuring competent and effective care across its range of services, including prenatal, delivery, postnatal care, and family planning.
Services
L'ASBEF offers a wide range of sexual and reproductive health services in Senegal, focusing particularly on maternal, perinatal, and neonatal health. These services include family planning (all reversible methods and emergency contraception), pregnancy monitoring, delivery and postpartum care, emergency obstetric and newborn care, post-
abortion care, and essential newborn care. Adolescent- and youth-friendly services around sexuality, prevention of harmful practices, family planning, and the fight against STIs, including HIV/AIDS. For women, ASBEF provides prevention and treatment of non-cancerous genital conditions as well as prevention of genital cancers.
